PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Chieri low-income apartment building complex represents a clear example of innovative touch in a consolidated italian constructive typology. The modularity of the single units composing the complex is here revisited thanks to curb lines and smooth edges giving to this project a sense of novelty and a recognizable status in the surrounding area, and responding at the same time to all the typical requests of a low-income residential complex. Within the design composition are 18 units, one and two-floor height, organized in 2 different buildings facing each other with the characteristic curved concept. The walls facing the internal public courtyard were designed as curved planes as well and roof planes were also designed to highlight the curved lines once again, constitueting the iconic project lines.
